Scent From Me only works if everyone feels safe, respected and confident they'll get what they paid for. Breaking these rules can mean content being removed, your account being suspended, or a permanent ban.
Adults only
Every member must be 18 or over. Never post, sell or discuss anything involving anyone under 18. This is a permanent ban and will be reported to the authorities.
Every member passes an ID and age check before they can use the site.
Only sell your own items, worn by you.
Only you may appear in your photos. Never post photos of anyone else, even with their permission.
Never allowed, anywhere on the site
These are banned in photos, listings, posts, comments, messages, profiles and usernames. Breaking them means immediate removal and a permanent ban, and anything involving a child or other serious crime is reported to the police.
Anyone under 18, or anyone who looks or is presented as under 18. That includes age play and words like “teen”, “young” or “barely legal” used about a person.
Anything non-consensual: forced, coerced, drugged, sleeping, drunk, hidden-camera, leaked or “revenge” content, or blackmail.
Incest or incest role-play, including step-family themes.
Bestiality or anything sexual involving animals.
Violence, rape, abuse, torture, blood, snuff or gore.
Celebrities, public figures or any real person other than you, and impersonating anyone.
AI-generated, deepfaked or edited images of people.
Human trafficking, sex trafficking, prostitution, escorting, or any service involving meeting in person.
No trafficking or exploitation
Scent From Me has zero tolerance for human trafficking, sex trafficking, exploitation or abuse. Every account belongs to one ID-checked adult acting for themselves. Nobody may sell on behalf of someone else, manage another person's account, or be pressured into selling. If you think someone is being exploited, report it straight away and, if anyone is in danger, call the police (999 in the UK). You can also contact the Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700.
No explicit content
No nudity, genitals or sexual acts in any photo: listings, posts, profile pictures, messages or anywhere else.
Every photo is checked before anyone else can see it, and anything flagged is held for a person to review.
Photos of items, and of you wearing them, are fine as long as nothing explicit is shown.
Be honest
Describe items truthfully: how long they were worn, how, and their condition. Use real photos of the actual item.
Only tap “I've paid” when you've paid, and only tap “Payment received” when the money has arrived.
No fake accounts, fake reviews, or reviewing yourself.
Sellers
Send what you sold, packed securely and discreetly (sealed bags are recommended). Add tracking where you can.
Every slice on your spin the wheel must be a real prize you'll send. No “nothing” or “try again” slices.
Buyers
Only buy or reserve if you intend to pay. Repeatedly letting reservations run out will get your account suspended.
Respect sellers' boundaries. A “no” to a custom request is final.
Respect everyone
No harassment, threats, hate speech, or pressuring anyone into anything.
Kink and banter between consenting adults is fine; abuse isn't. If someone asks you to stop, stop.
Don't share anyone's personal information (real name, address, workplace, phone number, social media) without their permission.
Keep it on Scent From Me
Keep conversations on the site. Moving to other apps makes scams more likely and means we can't help if something goes wrong.
Never ask for or share passwords, bank logins or card numbers. Sellers should only ever give a payment method or link for you to send money.
Some words and phrases are blocked automatically. Don't try to get around the filter.
Not allowed for sale
Anything illegal, bodily fluids sold on their own, used medical items, drugs or medication, weapons, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.
Services involving meeting in person.
See something wrong?
Use the Report button on any profile, listing, post, comment or message, or block the member. Not a member, or are you in a photo you didn't agree to? Use our Report content page. Reports are private. We review every one within 5 business days, and remove anything illegal or non-consensual straight away.
